IN A WHOLE NEW WAY
New York City asked my colleagues and me to apply the successful model of Project Lives to people on probation. With a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts backed by US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, I wrote and directed a half-hour documentary that from May 2021 through August of 2024 was selected by over 200 film festivals all over the world, amassing 80 awards in the process. The companion book that I co-edited was published to great acclaim in 2023 and named a finalist in the 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, known as the Sundance of independent publishing.
TRAILER FOR "THE LAST GHOST OF WAR"
The last ghost of the War in Vietnam is Agent Orange, the impact of which affects generation after generation of those exposed. To improve the outreach of an hour-long film documenting this impact, I created a trailer that whets the appetite for the full-length movie but can also stand alone in delivering the original's powerful message.
